With Stand4Change Day 2016 and our 2015-2016 Upstander and In Your School programs in the books, we wanted to share some exciting numbers with you!
5.2 Million-Â Â Over 5.2 million students took part in Stand4Change 2016 and took a stand in their schools and communities to say that bullying is not acceptable behavior.
50 States- Every single state in the US had representation during Stand4Change.
37 Countries- Â You stood and we heard you! Students and schools participated from the United States, to Canada, to China and Guam– and everywhere in between!
20 Universities-  College students know that bullying doesn’t end the day you graduate.  Twenty public and private universities and colleges took part in Stand4Change 2016.
840 Students- Took part in our Upstander program in schools located in Michigan. Â Why be a bystander when you can be an UPstander!
14 Schools- Hosted In Your School Programs this year, bringing our interactive, informative assembly to their students.
150 Camp Counselors- Â Â We know that bullying can happen, even at summer camp. Now counselors are trained to recognize bullying behavior and put a stop to it before it can ruin the summer for their campers.
3 Parent Presentations- Empowering and educating parents is one of our favorite things. Â We know that when parents are in the know and aware of what is going on in their children’s schools, they can better advocate for their kids.
1 Grateful Defeat the Label Team- We love what we do and we could not do it without you! Â Keep the movement going and we are excited to support our students in any way possible!
