In collaboration with Defeat the Label, The Meemic Foundation is delighted to showcase the sessions from this year’s Virtual Community Conversation on Bullying. Esteemed national and local experts led engaging discussions shedding light on the realities of bullying and strategies to eradicate it from our schools and communities. Topics ranged from fostering empathy and self-esteem to addressing trauma in education, embracing neurodiversity, navigating Matt’s Law, and featuring a roundtable discussion with Michigan Regional Teachers of the Year.
Guiding the event, Moderator Kevin Epling, a parent advocate and national co-director of Bully Police USA, along with Jamie Kaniarz from Defeat the Label, extend a warm welcome to viewers joining the conference.
